Graduation show of Namuna College, celebrating creativity in a grand way


The story telling of a fashion designer is always been mesmerizing and when it comes to creative and innovative designs, more the surprises come into the action. The scene seen on the runway of 13th graduation fashion of Namuna College of Fashion technology unfolded the similar kind of story.

The sixteen creative designs based on endangered species was the highlight of the show where the 63 graduating batch explored their creativity taking the inspiration of birds like Himalayan Munal, Indian flying fox bat, Lady Amherst’s Phesant to flowers like Coleman’s Corat Root Orchid, White Bat flower and many others.

The show entitled as Sera Di Stilista was been presented at Hyatt Regency hotel and was been choreographed by Rojin Shakya. The event also featured four other sequences which delivered various kinds of attires. The Inheritance deviation sequence came with the inspiration of newari traditional fabric Haku Patashi where colors like red, black and white were been the major colors and dresses were played on the fabrics like raw silk, poplin and others.

The sequence called chromatic titles had clothes presented using color blocking technique. The round called Razzle Dazzle had dazzling floor length gowns, embellished coats and blazers with gold and glitter touch. The dress transformation round was another highlight of the show where transformation of dress from one style to another was a surprising and interesting element.
