By Rojin Shakya | With an aim to give Nepali dancers an opportunity to perform and compete at an international level 2nd edition of Nepali Hip Hop Dance Championship has recently been successfully accomplished at Kathmandu.
The event was organized by Hip Hop International Nepal which was launched by Group of Event Entertainers, GEE a team of expertise professional who have been working together since 2000 to promote Nepal and Nepalese culture in national and international Arena with the mission of providing quality entertainment and strengthening the relationship.
Since then, GEE has been launching the international franchise as Manhunt International, Miss Tourism Queen International, Miss Global Beauty Queen, Mrs. Asia International, and Miss And Mister Pan Continental.
The competition was set to give the opportunity to all Nepali hip hop and street dancers to come together and compete for the chance to represent Nepal at international scene.
‘2017 Nepal Hip Hop Dance Championship’ was held on May 22nd at Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal. The finale saw Nepali Dance Crews, Bboys, Poppers, Lockers and All Style dancers competing.
The competition was been judged by international jury members Matt Steffanina, Sirichai Kanjanasupark, Mixka Yodchan, MoMo Phongsiri Wattanasiripakdee, Gonza La-ongyot Wongngern. The jury panel was headed by Apissara JDa Phetruengrong as the chief jury.
