The movie is a sequel of the successful movie Rock On which was released in 2008 and directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
The movie has been directed by Shujaat Saudagar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
The sequel features most of the original casts Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, and Prachi Desai along with new additions Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora.
the movie is slated to release in cinemas on 11th November, 2016.
